Andrea Joseph Review

I absolutely love Andrea Joseph's site and found her work inspiring. I really admire her talent not only in the way that she sketches but in her method of coloring as well. Her artwork seems to vary in style, but all are beautiful. My favorite piece of Andrea's work is "get miles away". It's not a completely accurate drawing, but her method makes the work appear soft and gentle, which is what stands out the most to me. Andrea's work makes me feel a lot better about not being perfect in everything I create. Some of my favorite pieces from her are exaggerated and have "messy" lines, which is similar to most of what I do...although mine aren't intentional.

I like your comment at the end of this post. It's so true that not everything has to be perfect to be beautiful. Sometimes it is the irregularities that make things striking.

Hi Hannah,

thanks so much for the review of my blog. I'm very flattered that you should choose mine.

I think it is important to not chase perfection - you could drive yourself crazy doing that! I agree with the above comment too - I sometimes think that it is in those irregularities tha we find our own style.

Thanks again, Andrea.
